Three and a half months ago, we successfully carried out a medical rescue operation to evacuate him from the war-torn city of Kharkiv. A Holocaust survivor with a sweet Jewish smile. Together in Kishinev, we embarked on a challenging journey, working hard to obtain the necessary documents, secure a place for him in Israel, and provide care for his injured leg.
This week, our unwavering faith and determination have been rewarded as we witness the remarkable outcome of our journey.
We set off from the hotel in Kishinev, hand in hand, and now Yevgeny Davidovich, whom we rescued from his home in Kharkiv while he lay bedridden, proudly walks the streets of Jerusalem, relying solely on his own strength, in the sacred land of Israel
